AFTER CARE & EXTRA MURALS
AFTER CARE
We offer free aftercare to all age groups. This is available up until 17:00 each day.
Children that are staying for after care should bring a snack to sustain them through the afternoon.
We have set up a designated sleeping room for the Toddlers. Once they have had their nap they join the rest of the children.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Cooked Meal Daily
Aftercare till 17:00
Seasonal Sports
Nappies, Formula, Sun screen etc are excluded and should be provided by the parent.
EXTRA MURALS AND SEASONAL SPORTS
Monaghan Montessori has employed the services of sports coaches who will do seasonal sports during class time. The idea is to expose the children to as many sports as possible. This includes: Rugby, Soccer, Cricket, Athletics, Tennis, Hockey, Netball etc...
Additional Extra murals that are offered at an additional cost are: Hip Hop/Dance, Music, Art, Pottery, Tennis.
SCHOOL TIMES
Start Times
Toddlers to be at School by 08h30;
Pre-School Children to be at School by 08h30;
Primary School Children to be at School by 08h00.
Closing Times
Toddlers to be collected at 12h30 or as advised by Lead Teacher;
Pre-School Children to be collected at 13h30;
Primary School Children to be collected at 14h00.
Aftercare facilities are available from 12h30 until 17h00
HOME COOKED MEALS
We are fortunate enough to have one of the moms on Monaghan Farm to cook the meal for our children each day. The meals are packed with veggies and are tasty. You won't believe how much and what your child will eat. All healthy and home cooked. The meals also contain lots of fresh fruit.
Should your child stay during aftercare it is suggested to pack a healthy snack to see them through the afternoon.
COMMUNITY
At Monaghan Montessori, family is the heart of all we do and we want parents to feel involved and welcome in the space. We host many events to build this community spirit. Events include, Parent Teacher Evenings, One on Ones, Camp out, Fun Run, Christmas Market and so much more. Please get involved.
